LAWRENCEBURG, TN — The Lawrence County School System has announced an upcoming change to the way schools and district officials communicate with students’ families.
The district will continue using Remind for school and district communications through September 18, 2026. After that date, Lawrence County schools will transition to ParentSquare as the system’s primary communication platform.
ParentSquare is designed to bring school announcements, classroom updates, emergency notifications, event reminders and other important information together in one location. The transition is intended to create a more streamlined and consistent communication experience for parents and guardians throughout the school system.
District officials said additional information will be released after Labor Day, including instructions for setting up ParentSquare accounts and details about what families can expect from the new platform.
Families are encouraged to continue monitoring Remind messages through September 18 and to watch for upcoming ParentSquare instructions from the school system.
Lawrence County School System officials thanked families for their patience during the transition and said they look forward to providing an improved communication experience for students, parents and guardians.
