LAWRENCEBURG, TN — A man recently added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted List has been arrested and will be returned to Lawrence County to face charges.
Kenneth Dion Spruill, 36, has been taken into custody and will be extradited to Lawrence County, according to 22nd Judicial District Attorney General Brent Cooper.
Spruill was wanted by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on charges of attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, especially aggravated robbery and theft of property.
The TBI had previously issued a Most Wanted Alert for Spruill, warning that he should be considered armed and dangerous. The agency had also offered a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.
Details surrounding where and when Spruill was taken into custody have not yet been released.
Spruill will be returned to Lawrence County, where the criminal charges against him remain pending. Additional information is expected as the extradition process moves forward.
