LORETTO, TN — The Loretto High School Band will host its second annual “Jeep Jam” Saturday, Aug. 29, at Loretto City Park, bringing together Jeeps, live music, food and family activities while supporting the school’s band program.
The event will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., with Jeep registration beginning at 10 a.m. and judging expected to begin around 1 p.m.
Jeep owners can enter their vehicles for $25, with awards planned in several lighthearted categories, including Muddiest, Most Abused, Best Theme and All Jacked-Up.
Young Jeep enthusiasts can also get involved. The event will feature a “Lil Jeepers” competition for children with ride-on Jeeps. Entry is $5, and each child who participates will receive a prize.
Organizers are also inviting local musicians to perform and showcase their talents throughout the event. Food will be available, including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue and desserts.
Vendors interested in participating may reserve space for a $40 vendor fee.
Admission information was not listed on the event flyer, but organizers said donations to support the Loretto High School Band are appreciated.
The event is locally sponsored by Evers Construction Company, Inc. and Ralston Ridge Coffee Company.
