Vehicles Stolen From Heritage Automotive Recovered

LAWRENCEBURG, TN – Three vehicles, including a 2024 Corvette Z06,  a 2024 GMC Sierra HD 2500 Denali, and a 2022 GMC Yukon, that were stolen earlier this year from Heritage Automotive have been recovered.  According to WKRN-TV, a Birmingham, AL police officer, who was familiar with the theft, stopped a Corvette that matched the description of the stolen vehicle and found that, while the car’s VIN number was changed, the computer still identified it as the vehicle stolen from Lawrenceburg.  The Corvette’s OnStar system had tracked the vehicle to the Birmingham area before the signal was lost shortly after the theft in March of this year.  The driver of the Corvette told officers that he had purchased the car from Facebook Marketplace.  No arrests have been made in the case.  Click here to read WKRN’s full story on the recovery of the vehicles.
