LAWRENCEBURG, TN – The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 75th anniversary Friday night in Downtown Lawrenceburg. The event, held outdoors along North Military Avenue, welcomed remarks from Lawrence County Executive David Morgan, Lawrenceburg Mayor Blake Lay, Chamber CEO Ryan Egly, and United States Senator Marsha Blackburn. Attendees were treated to live music and a catered meal by Striker’s Steakhouse. Longtime nurse and educator Alanna Harris was named the community’s 2024 Citizen of the Year for her efforts bringing a Safe Haven Baby Box to Lawrenceburg earlier this year. The Little Gold Mine was inducted into Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame while former Lawrence County Executive Steve Hill was presented with the Chamber’s new Legacy of Leadership Award. Egly announced the new honor would be named in honor of Hill for his years of service to the community as an elected official and private citizen. Over 440 people attended the event.
