LAWRENCEBURG, TN – The City of Lawrenceburg is pleased to announce the promotion of shift Captain Lee Beckman to the position of Deputy Fire Chief of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, effective September 6, 2024.
Deputy Chief Beckman has served 17 years of distinguished service with the Lawrenceburg Fire Department. He also has several years as a volunteer firefighter in Lawrence County. It is important to note that his career interest started as an explorer at the Lawrenceburg Fire Department.
In his new role, Deputy Chief Beckman will assist the Fire Chief in overseeing all areas of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, including emergency response operations, training programs, and community outreach as well as other areas of operation in the department.
