SUMMERTOWN, Tenn. — A Lawrence County man who was reported missing Sunday evening was located less than four hours after the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department issued a public alert.
The Sheriff’s Department reported 35-year-old Danial Boyd missing just before 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6. Authorities said Boyd had last been seen Sept. 5 in the area of Buie Road in Summertown.
According to the missing-person notice, Boyd was described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, dark gray pants and glasses.
The Sheriff’s Department asked the public to be on the lookout for Boyd and to contact investigators with any information concerning his whereabouts.
Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, the department reported that Boyd had been found, bringing the search to an end approximately four hours after the public missing-person notice was issued.
No additional details regarding where Boyd was located or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance were immediately released by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
