Lexington Truck and Tractor Pull Set for Two Nights of Competition in August

LEXINGTON, AL — Motorsports fans will have two opportunities to see high-powered trucks and tractors compete when the Lexington Truck and Tractor Pull returns to Lexington Motorsports Park in August.

The two-night event will begin Friday, August 14, at 6:30 p.m. Competition will continue Saturday, August 15, beginning at 6 p.m.

The event will be held at Lexington Motorsports Park, located at 123 McGuire Lane in Lexington, Alabama. The pull will feature competitors from the International Hot Rod Association Pro Pulling Series and the Mid-South Pullers Association.

Seven classes are scheduled to compete during the event:

  • Pro Stock Diesel Trucks
  • Super Farm Tractors
  • Limited Pro Stock Tractors
  • Mini Rods
  • Super Modified Two-Wheel-Drive Trucks
  • Pro Stock 4×4 Trucks
  • Light Limited Super Stock Tractors

The competition will feature a variety of specially built pulling vehicles attempting to carry a weighted sled as far as possible along the dirt track. As each vehicle moves down the course, the sled’s weight transfers forward, increasing resistance and testing the machine’s power, traction and durability.
