Lawrenceburg Honors The Chuck Wagon Gang with Proclamation Celebrating 90 Years of Gospel Music

LAWRENCEBURG, TN — The City of Lawrenceburg officially recognized one of gospel music’s most beloved groups Friday as Mayor Blake Lay presented a proclamation declaring Chuck Wagon Gang Appreciation Day in honor of The Chuck Wagon Gang’s 90th anniversary.

The proclamation was presented while the legendary gospel quartet was in Lawrenceburg to perform during the annual Vaughan Festival at the historic Crockett Theatre.

Mayor Lay recognized the group for nine decades of faithfully sharing a message of hope through gospel music and for its enduring influence on generations of listeners.
